NEET PG 2021 Exam: Examination to be held on April 18, Read important points here


While issuing the notification on the official website natboard.edu.in, it has been clarified that only those students who have completed their internship on or before 30 June 2021 are eligible to apply for NEET PG 2021. NEET application forms will be released on websites in a few days.

National Board of Examination (NBE) has announced the date of NEET PG 2021 exam. The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Examination (NEET 2021) for the post graduate qualification will be conducted in computer based mode at several NEET PG examination centers in India on 18 April 2021 this year. Students who are going to appear in NEET PG exam this year, they should know these important things.


By issuing the notification on the official website natboard.edu.in, it has been clarified that only those students who have completed their internship on or before June 30, 2021, are eligible to apply for NEET PG 2021. NEET application forms will be released on websites in a few days.


All NEET PG candidates seeking admission in post-graduate medical courses are advised to follow nbe.edu.in and natboard.edu.in. Brochure will be made available soon.


The NBE has clarified that the dates of NEET PG 2021 can be amended or postponed in view of unforeseen diligence. The moratorium will be announced after consultation with the MNC and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.


The NEET PG examination is conducted every year for the Master of Surgery, Doctor of Medicine and PG Diploma seats.


The NEET PG entrance examination consists of 10,821 Master of Surgery (MS) seats, 19,953 Doctor of Medicine (MD) seats, and 1,979 PG Diploma seats, 6,102 government, private, deemed and central universities.


In the year 2020, 1,67,102 candidates registered for appearing in NEET PG examination, out of which only 1,60,888 candidates took the online test.


Candidates desirous of appearing in NEET PG 2021 should have MBBS degree certificate issued by a medical institute recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI).


Candidates should have provisional / permanent application certificate issued by Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.


All those candidates who have completed MBBS from Jammu and Kashmir will be eligible for admission in 50 percent All India Quota (AIQ) seats, if they have been Government of India candidates for Central Pool Quota seats.


NBE NEET PG Application Improvement Facility will be provided after the registration ends. All those candidates who have successfully registered on the official website will be able to edit their details through NEET PG Registration Correction Facility.


NBE will release details of NEET PG 2021 Examination Centers along with information brochure on the official website. Last year, NEET PG exam was conducted in 162 cities across India.


While filling the NEET application form, all the candidates will be asked to select the NEET PG exam cities 2021 as per their preference and convenience. NEET PG examination centers will be allocated on first come first serve basis.
